We have always been an outdoorsy kind of family. We love a chance to camp out in the wild with our friends and family and since we had our son George we’ve loved introducing him to the great outdoors too.
I’ve worked as a teacher of Art and Textiles for 8 years, so have lots of experience working with and inspiring children through creativity. As a family my husband and I have enjoyed many experiences of hill craft, mountaineering, walking, cycling, canoeing and wild camping and now with George too.
That’s how the idea of Follow George came about. I wanted to combine our love for nature and creativity to create an experience for children where they get away from being stuck indoor with their computer games. An experience where children will have the freedom to explore and create using nature as their palette but in fun and safe environment.
There are lots of bush craft/woodland experiences out there but I wanted to created an experience for children that is more centred around creativity in a natural environment and so Follow George was born.
